We often take digital technology for granted, but it relies on essential resources like water, electricity, rare earth metals, and human labor. In their 3D printed sculptures, Wang & Söderström explore the physical infrastructure behind the digital world. The word digital comes from the Latin “digitus”, meaning finger. The hand reappears in their designs as a symbol of human touch and creation – a reminder that even technology is shaped by our hands.
